Our weight management program is led by a nurse practitioner. Treatment is considered only after a full assessment, and may include prescription medication where appropriate, along with nutrition and lifestyle support. Not everyone is a candidate.

How Does this Program Work

1. Consultation. You meet our nurse practitioner, who reviews your medical history, current medications and goals.
2. Bloodwork review. She reviews your recent bloodwork, or may request new tests, to check whether treatment is safe and appropriate for you.
3. Your plan. If you are a suitable candidate, she explains your options, what to expect and the possible side effects, and may prescribe treatment.
4. Follow-up. We check in regularly to monitor your progress and safety and adjust your plan.
